B Legal, established in 2005 and based in Marlow, and High Wycombe has agreed terms with Cooper Solicitors of Henley which will see B Legal acquire Cooper Solicitors on 1 October 2012. This is the second time in 3 months B Legal has joined forces with a local firm to fuel its expansion in the local area.
Each firm is delighted with the transaction and excited by the prospect of growing and developing their combined business activities across the Thames Valley region.
The acquisition follows quickly on the back of B Legal becoming the successor practice of Fendom Dawson & Towner on 1 July 2012. This transaction yet again builds upon B Legal’s strong national and local business relationships and its financial, risk, technology and service offering which has seen it awarded a number of prestigious professional accreditations and the long standing presence of Cooper solicitors in Henley and its surrounds. Cooper Solicitors is the most well established law firm in Henley having a history which goes back as long as 1741. It has a large and loyal local personal and business following in all areas of law.
Toby Greenwood of Cooper Solicitors is stepping down as Senior Partner after 34 years of service, but is staying on as a Consultant. He commented:
